Inspired by La Réserve’s vision of excellence, authenticity and simplicity, La Réserve Eden au Lac Zurich has gone under a grand transformation envisioned by architect and designer Philippe Starck to offer guests an evocative and timeless experience. Combining the refined ambiance of an old-world chateau and the luxury of a private club this emblematic hotel, brainchild of entrepreneur Michel Reybier, was reborn into the new era.
After the renovation, the hotel was in need of a new website that would reflect its traditional and yet unconventional aesthetics while following the latest digital trends.
The main idea for the website was to convey the relaxed sense of unpretentious elegance, highlight the personalized services provided through innovations in digital technology and upgrade its digital presence in line with the hotel’s new direction.
The fairy-like surroundings, unadulterated character of authentic charm and accents of discreet luxury were the inspiration behind the website.
The glamour of a bygone era was recaptured in the sensational intro video, the renewed content, elegant fonts, stylish images, and animation effects that reflect the hotel’s aristocratic finesse through an innovative and exemplary navigation experience.
With elements that highlight the “art de vivre”, the new website of La Réserve Eden au Lac Zurich promotes the unique lifestyle of the hotel. The color palette of off black and matte gold reflects the hotel’s aristocratic heritage with white revealing the beauty of simple luxury.
Thoroughly designed to offer a seamless UX experience with revamped content, advanced and innovative technologies, plug in bookwize-liquid and basic e-commerce functions, the hotel’s new website offers a holistic sensory experience. An experience of grace and lightness coming to life with every movement of the visitor with the use of CSS animations, parallax pixi effect.js, advanced 2D JavaScript animation framework and WebGL techniques.
Above all, the new website of La Réserve au Lac Zurich hotel captures the philosophy of Michel Reybier, the basic principles of excellence, authenticity, and subtle luxury as well as the values it stands for.
