Carroten has been a radiant force in sun care, providing protection and enhancing natural tans for over 35 years. Inspired by the antioxidant-rich carrot, the brand continuously evolves, offering high-quality ingredients, innovative formulas, and advanced technology for your skin’s health and beauty. From its inception and with a vision to safeguard your skin and promote a safe, natural tan, Carroten has managed to become synonymous with the essence and fragrances of summer. Its mission remains constant, to ensure your skin’s well-being during every sun-soaked adventure.
Carroten organized the first-ever “Carroten Summer Festival”, a grand celebration held on Voula beach, right by the sea. The event featured a diverse range of activities under the sun, inviting participants to engage in exercise, feel renewed, play, dive, and dance but only after putting on their sunscreen, just as its slogan implies “Live your season but first put on your sunscreen!” With various corners dedicated to different experiences, the audience immersed themselves in a day brimming with enjoyment. The beachside event featured an array of gifts, games, and abundant Carroten sunscreen, ensuring a memorable experience. The objective was to support this physical event and communicate it to the public through the digital world and to the brand’s target audience, generate interest and entice them to partake in this sun-drenched celebration.
Leveraging its expertise Mozaik decided to connect the physical with the digital world, transferring the “Carroten Summer Festival” campaign to the digital environment. The campaign was strategically divided into teaser and launch phases to build anticipation. Teaser communications invited the audience to stay tuned for the big reveal on 07/07, creating buzz around the event. The launch phase utilized the brand’s digital channels to showcase the festival’s overall action and highlight special activities. The same social channels where flooded with spontaneous live content from the event under the hashtag #CarrotenSummerFestival accompanied by visuals inspired by each corner. This approach effectively conveyed the ambiance that every visitor would experience if they attended the festival.
To further boost festival communication, we utilized influencer marketing. Focusing on the “Play” corner dedicated to child sun protection, where every child-visitor could engage with the on-site educator, we partnered with Evi Stathatou, a renowned mom influencer and parent coach. In the teaser phase, Evi Stathatou announced her attendance through social media, inviting her audience to join. In the launch phase, she actively participated, discussing child sun protection, and sharing related content on her channels, effectively promoting the brand and its products.
Utilizing digital tools, we effectively communicated both the event and the brand to an extensive audience, reaching 1,038,505 unique users. With a concise total of 9 posts and 39 stories, we successfully generated interest in the event. The live and authentic content not only transferred the festival’s atmosphere to the digital realm but also bolstered the success of the upcoming Carroten Summer Festival No2 in Thessaloniki. The heightened audience interest was evident in a remarkable 231% increase in reactions, comments, and shares compared to the usual brand content on social media channels.
The Carroten Summer Festival celebrated sun care and showcased the brand’s commitment to a holistic summer experience. Likewise, Mozaik seamlessly blended physical and digital elements leaving a lasting impression on both attendees and the online audience.
